Return to Favignana

The new Favignana tourist map distributed by the AMP Egadi Islands

Favignana is among the few Mediterranean islands to allow the access of ground bays in most of the coast. Certainly do not forget any cove and we choose those sheltered from the winds. Before you daily choose our destination for a bath, wherever fabulous, be informed before where the wind blows and we choose the sheltered coves.

If theoretically it was possible to travel the entire circumnavigation of the island, we would have to go further 36 km walk, obviously many areas are unreachable by land and even by sea, docking is dangerous.

Here they are listed just under the wind that blows on the island and remember that Favignana takes its name from the wind that in a normal beats, the FAVONIO da Ponente !
