Welcome to Cala Water Ruci, location fumes disaster Favignana
To get to the cove from land you have to take the road behind the former Florio factory and continue after the asphalt road ends, continuing on a path that is first dirt and then natural. The coastal path splits at a certain point, one section goes upwards and another continues. You must always continue until the end of the path which ends right on the cliff overlooking Acqua Ruci.
The route is approx 1,5 km one way, it can be walked easily with a pair of closed shoes, preferably trekking ones. Once you arrive on site, it is not advisable to continue unless accompanied by an expert environmental guide.
